Submit 1-2 pages, 1.5 spacing report on something “microbiological” you see around yourself. Students need to generate the topic of their report themselves. This is your chance to be innovative.
Here is one simple example: if your “xx” is “yoghurt in your refrigerator”, ask yourself few questions: “what is yoghurt, what’s making yoghurt, benefits of eating yoghurt, what can be done to make better quality yoghurt, how can you increase shelf life of yoghurt, what can be done to prevent spoilage, why do we store yoghurt at cold temperatures, why not room or freezing conditions”? and pin down answers to your “yoghurt adventure” in the report.
Field of Microbiology is vast, and you will find a topic easily either from basic or applied aspects of microbiology.
